HR & Systems Advisor

What’s the background?

You’re a bit of a unicorn – you’ve got a background in generalist HR but you’re also a data geek at heart. You have a real appreciation of processes and a knack at spotting when they’re going wrong and/or could be improved. You also love that synergy between data insights and better informed decision making, so are someone who has a real affinity with leveraging everything possible from a HRIS to drive efficiencies and performance improvement in daily operations.

If this is you then you’re exactly the type of person we need.

This is a large organisation who operate in the housing sector. They not only build new homes, but provide rental properties, as well as trying make a positive impact within the community. Due to a period of sustained growth they need another HR & Systems Advisor to help handle the workload within that small team.

Responsibilities:

Working in a smaller sub-team spanning Reward, Data and Technology, but as part of the broader HR department of around 30, the HR & Systems Advisor is a unique position being the link between the HR Data Analysts and the wider business.

Then you’ll get out into the business to work with colleagues to address the source of these errors and how to fix them. This could be through writing user guides, updating SOPs, or looking at training requirements.

They operate three sites across the Merseyside and Cheshire region. Whilst this role will be based at their Liverpool office there will be requirement to travel to the other two locations too. There is some opportunity to work from home each week but they adopt an agile working approach so each week your whereabouts will depend on the needs of the business.

Experience needed:

  • You’ll be a true data lover, someone who gets absolute satisfaction from analysing HR data and able to tell the story of what you’re seeing.
  • Knowledge of iTrent as a HRIS is advantageous but not essential
  • Be able to translate HR MI into language non-analysts can understand
  • CIPD Level 5 (or studying towards)
